Humans in Heat

New research indicates that women display cues of being in heat. Scientists studied changes in women's bodies and their partners when they were least fertile and when they were ovulating. As it turns out, there were several changes that women made while they were most fertile that would cause them to be more attractive to a male partner.
  1. Natural body odors become more attractive to men
  2. Skin becomes more pale
  3. Voices raise in pitch
  4. Soft tissues change to make the body more symetrical
  5. Women tend to wear more revealing clothing during ovulation

Researchers think all of these changes are linked to increases in estrogen levels that occur while ovulating.

The study also found that men were more likely to pay attention to their woman's needs and experience jealousy when their partners were fertile.
